Kent’s Neighborhood Council Program is an opportunity for neighborhoods to partner with the city for communication and neighborhood improvement. North Scenic Hill Neighborhood Council (NSHNC) is proud to be a part of the program. As a resident or business receiving this letter you are invited to participate.
General Membership meetings are open to everyone. Join us to exchange ideas and concerns, learn about topics relevant to the neighborhood, and get updates on our council’s projects and events. Your input is appreciated!
2019 General Membership meeting schedule
Feb. 7, May 9, Sept. 12 and Nov. 7
6:15 pm meet n’ greet | 6:30–8:00 pm meeting
Kent Senior Activities Center
Additionally, check www.NSHNC.us or NSHNC on Facebook throughout the year for:
- Events (for example the National Night Out all neighborhood picnic)
- Special Meetings (such as the Crime Concerns & Safety Meeting)
- Neighborhood Projects (our ongoing Gowe Street Park clean-up)
The enclosed flyer has information on the neighborhood council program and be sure to note the availability of project grants. More of a doer than a meeting person? Project and event groups meet separately from general membership meetings and can be flexible in format (meet in-person or communicate electronically).
Meet your neighbors, learn something new or get involved with a project or event. Join in!
We love beautiful Scenic Hill and know you do too,
